The Ali region of Tibet is the collection point for the cashmere material of ZanliJoy. As demand for cashmere grew, the scarce cashmere resources could no longer support the vast market needs. Some herders began to crossbreed goats for higher yields. However, crossbreeding does not guarantee the superior quality of cashmere. In the long run, it could drastically reduce the quality of cashmere in the Ali region and the number of purebred goats, posing a threat to species development.

ZanliJoy established a base in Ali, Tibet, for the breeding of the high mountain goat population. They set up a comprehensive industrial chain, from collection to inspection and purchase. This provides local herders with stable job positions and generous compensation. Post the 1990s, China's cashmere apparel industry rapidly expanded, infiltrating all aspects of textile apparel. ZanliJoy caught this wave and deeply understands the importance of continuing tradition and innovation.
