Sustainable Fashion Development of Tibet's Animal Husbandry
The Ali region of Tibet is the collection point for the cashmere material of ZanliJoy. After inspections across Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Tibet, the decision to base the cashmere material in the high mountains of Ali, Tibet was driven by the commitment to the continuity of the purebred goats and reverence for nature.
As demand for cashmere grew, the scarce cashmere resources could no longer support the vast market needs. Some herders began to crossbreed goats for higher yields. However, crossbreeding does not guarantee the superior quality of cashmere. In the long run, it could drastically reduce the quality of cashmere in the Ali region and the number of purebred goats, posing a threat to species development.
ZanliJoy established a base in Ali, Tibet, for the breeding of the high mountain goat population. They set up a comprehensive industrial chain, from collection to inspection and purchase. This provides local herders with stable job positions and generous compensation. While collecting high-quality cashmere, they also support and join in the improvement of local environmental protection, perpetuating the uncontaminated natural force. ZanliJoy firmly believes that only by preserving nature can we ensure its eternity. They actively practice the philosophy of sustainable environmental development, contributing their part to nature's continuation.
Continuation and Exploration of Tradition
Since the early 1980s, the gradual development of China's raw material processing industry laid the foundation for cashmere's market presence. Post the 1990s, China's cashmere apparel industry rapidly expanded, infiltrating all aspects of textile apparel. ZanliJoy caught this wave and deeply understands the importance of continuing tradition and innovation. They see product sustainability as their duty and explore the vast path of inheriting and innovating traditional craftsmanship and techniques. As of 2023, ZanliJoy has developed 12 patents covering areas such as dye extraction, fabric innovation, and raw material collection. They combine tradition with technology, bringing them to life on modern intelligent machines, accumulating more experience for the development of the apparel industry and offering more possibilities.
